About Toronado Entertainment

Built by producers, for producers.

Los Angeles · Dallas · London

Toronado Entertainment is a boutique software studio for the entertainment industry, co-founded by Andrew Ward and Kristen Moss — an Emmy-nominated reality TV producer and a CSA casting director who, between them, have spent twenty-five years inside the unscripted business.

We build the tools we wished existed when we were running shows: a casting OS that respects talent, an awards platform that judges trust, a backstage system that the control room actually wants to use. Every product comes from a real production problem, not a pitch deck. The American Reality Television Awards has been running since 2012; the software studio came later, when we kept noticing the same workflow gaps across every show we touched.

Boutique by design. Feature requests reach the founders. Email gets answered. Roadmap moves with our customers, not against them.

Co-founder · Builds the platforms

Andrew Ward

Emmy-nominated, Tribeca-premiered reality TV producer with fifteen years on both sides of the casting table. Produced FRAMPTON for the Tribeca Film Festival and a Katy Perry concert film shot in Paris. PBS reality credits. Built casting workflows out of Google Sheets, Dropbox, and wishful thinking — because there was nothing better.

Andrew leads the engineering side of the studio. Founder of Mythie. Co-founder of Toronado Entertainment.

"I built Mythie because I kept losing great people in the inbox. That is not a technology problem — it is a priority problem. And I decided to make it one."

Co-founder · Casts the talent

Kristen Moss

CSA member and reality television casting director, casting since 2010 across reality competitions, documentary series, and branded content. Three-time Artios Award nominee from the Casting Society of America. Founder of KMoss Casting, which connects real personalities with major networks and brands.

In 2012 — when no one else thought reality TV deserved an awards show of its own — Kristen founded the American Reality Television Awards.

"The trick to casting reality TV is searching far and wider than anyone else thinks reasonable. The right person is rarely the obvious one."
